Some More Digital Layouts

To share with you all...
First up is my take on the weeks color palette for the Color Room. This is the palette...
So this is my layout, I really want to create a whimsical style layout. Elements used from French Frog (sorry shop is now closed).
The photo of Summah was taken when she was 2 years old.
So now for a couple of digital layout I have created for challenges over at Soul Scrappers.
Deb challenge was to create a layout about siblings, so I did one of me when I was 2 with my sister & brother. We had to use the quote 'siblings are friends given by nature'.
Next is Karen sketch challenge, I did change the sketch a little bit. I clustered the circle photo closer together has I didn't really like them spread out over the page.

Now the next one I did a few days ago but never added it to my blog. It is for another challenge at Soul Scrapper, a digital challenge. We had to create a layout using 3 punches, 2 colors of paper, 1 photo and 2 stamps or word embellishments, one of these had to be the title. Kits used from Digital Crea fr.
So that is all I have to share with you. Thanks for stopping by...

Some Digital Layouts

I have a couple of digital layouts to share with you all. They are both for challenges over at Soul Scrappers for the celebration week...
First up is a recipe card for Linda's challenge (CWC7), we had to include 3 embellishments. I included staples, tape and a pin.
oh yummy rocky road crunch bars...makes me want to make some now! Kit used from Scrap Girls.
Now for Mary's colour challenge (CWC5), we had to use chocolate brown, light blue and vanilla white.
I think I might of used a slightly darker blue than what was asked, oh well! Has you can see I am still scrapping photo from our US holiday back in 2005. Kit used from Devine Digital.
So that is it for now, thanks for stopping by!

What's Cooking Challenge...

over at Scrapz was to create a layout using an aussie vernacular, colour blocking and something big.
So this is what I created...
When we went to America back in 2005 we stayed in LA for a few day and did a tour of Universal Studios. At the Jaws display there was one of the sharks from the movie, so I just had to get hubby to stand beside it so I could take a photo. Has you can see I have used lots of old stash: Lil Davis chip alpha letters and shapes, We R Memory Keepers papers and frame, Carolee's Creation mini alpha, buttons, string & thread. TFL

Well it is Macro Monday Again...

So camera in hand and off I went into the garden and this is what I found...
Look at the center of this flower and the water drops...

Doesn't purple look cool on a male page, well I thought so...I used elements from Scrap Girls and Digital-Crea.
So do come on over and play along...

The Color Room...

I think my mojo has returned, woohoo...
I have created a layout for this weeks palette over at the Color Room. Here is the palette...
Now for my creation. I used more of the yellow and gray tones.
I did some hybrid scrapping, the roses and butterflies are images I have downloaded from the internet. Made a couple of flowers out of organza ribbon. Used Prima flowers, buttons, Making Memories brads, ribbon, K & Co rubons, Pink Paislee alphas, pins and Flair badge.

No Scrapping To Share...

I have not been scrapping lately, seem to of lost my scrapping mojo...
A lot has happened this past week with my family.
My mother-in-law is in Royal Brisbane Hospital in the Coronary Care Unit with severe chest pains.
My oldest daughter who is expecting her second baby in January has just found out that the baby has some medical problem.
My youngest son goes in for day surgery tomorrow to have a lump remove from his face.
Plus my hubby is having legal problem from his previous place of employment.
I have also had some issues at work which I hope have been sorted now.
So this past week has been very stressful. We have to play the waiting game now to see what test results say which I think is more stressful.
So I am hoping, praying and keeping fingers crossed that all is ok all round and I am hoping that I can get back into my scrapping soon.
Thanks for listening and everyone take care!

The Color Room

I have done another layout for this weeks palette for the Color Room, this one is traditional.
You can see the palette a few posts down with my digital layout I created so I wont post it again.
It might just be a little bit on the bright side of the palette's colors but I love how it looks with the black & white photo. made some more of those gorgeous tissue paper flowers. Has you can see I have used lots of my old stash here.

Not Much To Share...

I only have a mini album and digital layout to share with you all today...
So first off here is the 'All About Me' mini album I made for my youngest son's girlfriend Skye. All she has to do is add photos and journaling...
I have had this Sweetwater kit floating around my scrap area for ages so I thought why not make it up. Skye loved it...she has promised to show me when it is finished.
Now for the digital layout I created for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers. It was a sketch challenge which you can see here. I used some cute photos of Summah when she was only a few weeks old.  Gosh that was a while ago, she is 5 now.
I used My Sweet Child kit from Divine Digital. I found this cool program to download that converts your photos to Polaroid images, which also ages the photo a bit as well. You can download it here if you are interested.
Well that is all for now, keep safe.

Some Digital Layouts

With working morning lately, when I get home I have wanted to scrap but found that scrapping traditional layouts just wasn't working for me so I have done some digital pages
First up is a layout I created for the current digital challenge over at Soul Scrappers
This was a sketch challenge, click here to see the sketch.
I created another page for my India travel album. I used elements from French Frog (sorry can't link it the shop is closed now).
Another challenge over at Soul Scrappers was to create a layout about your bucket list.
So this is my bucket list layout, another digital one...
I used elements from Autumn Mist kit from Divine Digital.
Now last but not least is my take on this weeks color palette over at the Color Room
Here is the palette...
And now here is my digital layout...
I used elements form Love from Mushy, Scrap Girls and Digital Crea.
Well has you can see I have have been having fun creating digital layout but now I think I will do some traditional one, so stay tuned.

How Cool Is This...

Look at the photos I took this morning, how cool does this look...
It was so weird seeing the fog sitting low and the top of the mountain peeking through. It did not last too long so I was lucky to get these photos.

The Color Room

This is my take on this weeks palette from the Color Room.
But first I will show you the palette...
Aren't the colors gorgeous this week and that sketch is awesome...
so now my layout...
I used Basic Grey and Kaiser paper, Prima flowers, lace, Basic Grey buttons, Maya Road Owl, butterfly punch, Kaiser mini alphas, MME transparency swirls, chocolate mist spray, Technique Tuesday stamp, distress ink, string and Heidi Swapp ribbon.

A Couple Of Digital..

Layout to share with you. Both of these are for challenges over at Soul Scrappers.
First up is my take on Mary's 'about me' challenge. We had to research our home town and create a layout including information about how your home town got it's name and to also include 2 photo, one past and one present. So this is what I came up with...
Had fun researching my home town, certainly found out some information that I never knew :)
Next up is my layout for Gretchen Sketch challenge, you can see the sketch by clicking on the link. I decided to create a layout using a photo I have of my mother-in-law on her wedding day which I copied and cropped a few time.
So that is all for now, take care!

Scrap That Ad

Week 6 challenge is based on the 'Tim Tam' ad, you can see it here. You know the one that the genie grants you 3 wishes. We also had to use the word wishes, stars and a fairytale element on our page, so this is what I created. My fairytale element is the fairy sitting on the mushrooms.
I watched the ad a couple of times and kept thinking of kids picking dandelions and making wishes, so camera in hand off I went in search oh some dandelions. Found 3 and made my wishes, then scrapped the photos. I based this layout on this weeks sketch from the Color Room, really love this one.
I can't believe that we are up to week 6 in the challenges, gosh that has gone quickly.

Macro Monday - Make A Wish

I decided to enter one of my photo in the Macro Monday, you can check it out here at Lisa's Chaos
I took some macro photos of dandelions for a layout. This is the one I entered on Macro Monday...

Gosh Where Has The Time Gone...

First up I have to tell you about this month's poster challenge over at From Screen 2 Scrap.
Here is the poster...
Interesting poster don't you think! The criteria was to use red & yellow cardstock, a hand print and a black title. So this is what I created...
I outlined my own hand here then stitched around the outline. Love these photos of Summah when she was about 6 months old.
Next up I have my entry for palette #21 at the Color Room. The palette was based on her room with gorgeous colors of red, orange, ivory pink & lolly pink.
I loved the sketch from this palette so had to use it as a base for my layout. Made most of the flowers here as well.
The photo is of my sister and me, taken in 1963. Had a bit of an accident with the bling on the corner of the photo, one of the swirls sort of broke and stuck in the wrong place...
Now lastly is my layout for last weeks challenge (round 5) for the Scrap that Ad over at Scrapz. The criteria was to create a layout based on the Dove Ad, to also use the word beauty, a photo of yourself and a frame or bulletin board. Well this is what I came up with, did have a bit of a problem coming up with an idea for this challenge but got there in the end.
So now onto round 6, the ad this week is the Tim Tam ad. We also have to create a layout using the word wish, have a traditional fairytale element/s and star/s. So now to put on my thinking cap to come up with something. So that is all for now.
